Being the most advanced national testing & research center
of HVAC & HVDC, XD Group collaborates & cooperates extensively
with other international companies. XD Group is the member of
IEC and CIGRE and is appointed as the national center by the
state for the IEC TC17 committee.
With our advanced technology, human resources, top-ranking testing
equipment and abundant experience in manufacturing, XD group
is working on developing the products for 750kV UHVAC.
The maximum testing capacity is as below.
Heavy current test: 20kA power frequency current, 140kA rated
short-time withstand current (4s, peak) and 350kA rated peak
with stand current for long-term temperature rise test;
High power test: Whole (single) pole synthetic test for 500kV
63kA circuit breaker and all kinds of tests for 500kV apparatus
can be made;
HV test: test on AC transmission and distribution equipment
with the highest voltage up to 1000kV, and test on DC transmission
equipment with the highest voltage up to ±600kV.
